Inspiration: The apartment

The bf and I are looking for a new apartment, but we have promised ourselves to really start looking when we’re back from vacationing. I must say, I find it terribly hard to not look at houses and apartment, certainly when you find pics like these. Of course, I know there’s no way in hell we’ll be able to afford such a nice place or even furnish it so beautifully but hey, a girl can dream right?

And there’s always DIY-design, there must be a way to at least DIY one of the things from these pictures…

Inspiration: Dream house in a former oil factory

SO I found this incredible dream house. It’s actually a former oil factory and it’s located it the ever so fairytale-like Frence Provence. I think there’s nothing in this entire house I don’t absolutely love with all my heart, and I’m not afraid to admit I’m super jealous. I mean, living in such an awesome, old building, which is decorated in this beautiful way AND live in the Provence…?

Who wouldn’t be jealous, right? Oh and that pool! Wow.

Inspiration: Colorfull kitchens

I never get bored of cooking. But I do get bored of my tiny little boring kitchen. In my dream house, I would have a kitchen which is as big as it is inspiring, with lots of color. As I haven’t got the space or money for such a kitchen, there’s nothing left but to dream…

Fashion: Sexy Sixties

I love sixties fashion. The Mad Men-ish styles but also the rock-a-billie style, with the beehive hair, the pencil skirts and the, well, kinda trailer trash looks. If you want a key example, you might want to check out the movie Cry Baby.

Ha, I love this postcard, we actually have it hanging in our bathroom. Anyway, Vogue decided to make an editorial with this style and I must say, it’s not even the slightest trashy. Topmodel Anastasia Parraki proves you can be draped across a hot pink chevrolet, eating french fries and still be beautiful and super stylish.
